Congratulations, new yearclubs!

The first part of the yearclub introduction has come to an end! Yesterday night the last two yearclubs presented themselves to the association. Once again it was a night to remember! We want to congratulate the new yearclubs with their certification and we are sure that they will find their place with the association. We can proudly say that six yearclubs were formed this year, with three male yearclubs: HJC Vesuvius, HJC SyxyS en HJC Kuriton, and three mixed yearclubs: YC Dubius, JC Kairos en JC Fajro.

Member of the Month November

This month's member of the month is.... Kevin Vogelzang! As a few of you might already know, one board year was not enough for Kevin. After his AEGEE-Enschede board year he started his board year at Fact. The Local Chamber of Associations Fact is the umbrella organisation for all Pakkerij associations and does a lot of great work in stimulating cooperation between the four associations. It is great to have another AEGEE-Enschede member in this board, and we want to thank Kevin for all his work this year!

We have begun: The first two yearclubs of 2016 are official!

The first two yearclubs of 2016 presented themselves to the association yesterday, after requesting to do so in their amazing letters. We would like to congratulate HJC Vesuvius and YC Dubius with becoming an official AEGEE-Enschede yearclub! After the two (short) presentations we had an amazing party, with cool yearclub gifts and of course enough beer for everybody. We are eager to see what the other four yearclubs-to-be will do in the coming few weeks!

Member of the month Octobre

And the member of the month October is...... Jop Paulissen! With a majority of the votes, he is the one that won the title this month. Jop, who has been a member of the pubboard for nine months already, did a lot for the association last month. A lot of chores (watch the movie on the Asterion Facebook, it is great) and also a fantastic first aid shift at camp. Always happy and up for a chat, even when he lost his front teeth. Jop: congratulations on your victory!

Roelof, van harte gefeliciteerd!

Op 31 augustus heeft Roelof Krist zijn master Biomedical Engineering afgerond. Anderhalve week geleden heeft hij dit gevierd met een afstudeerborrel om zijn studententijd met vrienden en familie af te sluiten.

Sinds 28 augustus 2008 is hij lid van de vereniging geweest en begon daar met het opstarten van zijn jaarclub SISU. Later in het jaar werd hij lid van Herendispuut ΚΑΔΜΟΣ. Hij heeft ook een aantal commissies gedaan, met als hoogtepunt de Serious Request commissie in 2012.
